take your fish to a buddy with a tank or to the LFS until you can put them into a stable environment. PS-you should know better and to put all of those fish into an 18 gl thank. A 40 is still too small

    animone in agressive tank

anemones dont need perfect water quality. my perception of water quality might be a bit skewed because i keep sps. you can have some nitrates and sustain an anemone. The lighting required for an anemone is not that bad. MH are not necessary...Just do water changes and have a good skimmer...

snakeblitz.........MH bulbs do get old. when they are new they produce light at the blue end of the spectrum and as they age the tend to produce light in the red end of the spectrum which is highly conducive for growing algae. you should change your lights ever year. I dont think that my...

    Brown/Green Algae Problem

I have brown/green algae in my tank. It is not hair algae. Assuming my setup is fine and I have no phosphates, what could be the cause? Can high nitrates cause this because I just added three new fish? Also, could my MH bulbs be getting old? Thanks

Start of one "BIG" SPS tank

i have found that a vital part of keeping a health and successful SPS tank is to have perfect water quality with very little waste. Dont u think that all of thise fish will produce a large amount of it as well as the food that you will have to feed them??
