I have the Satelite 4x65 (2x65w dual actinics and 2x 65w dual daylight) pc lighting and i do pretty good. i have some mushrooms a anemone and tons of pulsing xenia oh i also have a stip light that came with tank that has a actinic bulb also mainly for color enhancement

I too have been using a 404 for over a year clean it every 10 days or so and run it as per directions that came with it the carbon the ceramic bio media and sponges and i have not had any problems yet . just keep it clean.

yea i still have her she goes back and forth between 2 lt anemones she has it made. i too have cc substrate. its what the lfs recommended a few years ago when i first started this hobby. my other tank has live sand though.

its dwarfed my gold stripped sometimes i swear its going to swallow my fish. time is the only thing i can say about how long it takes for a clown and anemone to get together. i have seen them take to each other in 1 day and i have seen it take up to 2 weeks.

i have 320watts of pc lighting. not that much compared to others i have seen. when i first set this tank up i thought that might not be enough, but everything seems to be doing good.

she's a gold stripped maroon in a lt anemone in a 75g tank. the pic doesn't do them justice they both are pretty big. that anemone sometimes swells up so big it streches up almost 3/4 to the surface and as big as 12-14 inches around. she needs a mate

i have only a ro system the kent hi-s 35 gpd to be exact it claims to filter 97-99% particles. i don't have the di stage and i get water that reads 1ppm on my tds meter. i recently got some water from the lfs before my ro unit purchase and stuck a meter in it and it read 5 ppm. i have fish and...

ok i picked up a meter and here is what i got: tap water-175 water from safeway's glacier water machine-0 water from my new kent hi-s 35gpd 3 stage ro filter without di stage -0 question: should i buy the di stage and add it to my ro filter? what good would it do if i am at 0 already?

does anyone own this portable tds meter? i have run across them online for less than 20 bucks thought it was a little cheap. you know the old saying you get what you pay for. they are widespread online and the company makes a lot of lab equipment.

mine does that too. all around the anemone the substrate is removed down to glass i had to rearrange that end of my tank so it wouldn't collapse my rocks. its funny though when i clean around it gets pissed and moves it all back its tail is a little frayed at the end from doing it so much.
