I have to actinic blue VHOs running with my metal halides and it really balances it out and gives the water a nice color... a little most natural looking.

I had a coral banded shrimp for AGES.. used to have two.. and t hey killed my old cleaner shrimp after it's mate died...... And then I think one cannabalized the other... So I put it in my new tank with two new cleaner shrimp.... The coral banded turned up dead a couple weeks later. It's revenge...

Hi I just got a Moon Brain Coral from this website. Its a magnificent piece but the listing here doesn't indicate lighting requirements. I googled for it and have found all different answers.. I would assume since its a brain coral, it would require medium to high intensity but would like to...

yea it doesn't seem to be hurting anything at all actually. My clam is not bothered by it in the slightest....

I think the main problem that he is having right now is making sure that he put the pumps for the protein skimmer in right. On my old tank I had a refug that we used the overflow box for and we got the siphon started with airline tubing... Lots of saltwater in the mouth lol

So....... the madness begins. We got a pro 150 pro clear wet dry 'sump' today. My dad is hard at work putting it together and all I hear is banging and grumbling. The instructions aren't for crap and I fear there will be hammers involved soon. Anyone have experience with these things?? HELP...

Okay so I was admiring my new clam and I noticed this thing on the side underneath the mantle. No idea what it is. It looks like a tube almost with two heads in a 'T' shape. Anyone have an ideas?

Just wanted to share some pics of my reef and my two new clams!!!!! I love my boys. Well there are a couple other corals thrown in there too lol
