How often, what, and how do you feed shrimp and crabs? :thinking: I have a new Coral Banded, Sally Lightfoot, emeralds, and hermit crabs. Not sure where to go from here.

I am in the process of acclimating an order of inverts from saltwater fish.com. After you put them in the tank do you put the water from the pails back in the tank also? If not what is the best way to make up the lost water?

I just ordered an ASM G 1 Skimmer and Salifert test kits. I think I am better off testing my own water rather than relying on the lfs once every couple of weeks. I am still looking into the reef packages. They all look good.

I started my tank about two months ago. The lfs says it has cycled. It is a 46 gal bowfront, 50lbs LR, eheim 2215 filter, and crushed coral sub. After reading a bit and brousing these message boards I realize I need some more stuff. Can any one recommend a good test kit and protien skimmer...
