    I am curing some live rock. I had to go out of town for a couple of days. When I got back I have this whitish spiderweb looking stuff on some of the LR. Does Anyone know what this stuff is? Should I clean the rock again? Is it bad for the LR?

    No I'm not adding more LR. I'm at my limit I think. Its only a 29 gallon starter tank. The rock I'm adding is uncured. Should I get a piece of cured rock to add from LFS? Or just run with the uncured rock?

    So just to get this straight for myself. I do not have any live stock so I can cure the LR in my DT. Just add all the rock and a shrimp, wait for the levels to spike, remove the shrimp. And that is the start of the cycle. When all the levels stabilize thats the end of the cycle? Should I wait to...

    No the tank isn't cycled yet.
