I have a problem with algea. I think its called angel hair algea and its all over my tank. Is this good or bad.

I just got a new fish. It is the first in a long time. The kids name every fish and this one is named Lucy. No idea if it is a boy or a girl. This just started to grow and just started to pulse.

I have a cleaner shimp that I have had for about a month it had its first shed and then it got block spots on it. Can you tell me what is going on it doesn't act sick. I took a picture of it but the camera is an old one and that as good as I can get it.
