    I thought I was giving my zoanthus a treat by basting it with the juice from the brine shrimp I was feeding my fish. It closed up and hasn't opened in over two weeks. I've checked it for foreign matter and it looks clean. I need someones eggspurteese. Please tell me I didn't kill it! Thanks, Rick

    Where to buy RO water

    I doubt that anyone here will support the "ocean water" thingy. Too many pollutants in it, unless there is a spot where you can pick it up that has been filtered (scripps for instance).

    If you are doing a freshwater tank, do yourself a favor and use tap water. Just make sure you use declorinator that you can get from the local fish store.

    For anyone that has climbed the mountain of frustration, don't let this stop you! I suggest going out today and getting another tank. You'll look at this with great laughter someday. Believe me, it could be much worse, plus, you enjoy the hobby too much. Good Luck

    I just installed a new "The Filter Guys" ro/di and it started working immediately. It was a bit confusing because of all the little hoses going in every direction, but I finally got it fingered out. I'm thinking you might have some lines crossed? I could see how that would happen. Rick
