what are yo trying to accomplish, is your sump filling up before the return can get rid of it?, if so try putting a ball valve on the 1" overflow line and restrict it to the flow you want.

you could do that, but your better off either making it a full blown aggresive or a full blown reef, not one or the other, but you could if you really want to, but you could also but a dwarf lion in your 25 if you want and keep the 90 a reef, personally i don't like saltwater aggresive tanks...

try looking him up as a watchman wheelers goby, they normaly don't tend to be aggresive though

i've put about 1200 into my 29 reef, but thats all top of the line stuff, lighting and lr and ls and fish so far but you can do it for under 400

i have 2x65 pc electro light kit on my 29 and it works great, i have a atinic on the back and 10,000k on the front, it's light spectrum is amazing and is as good as any vho, which SUCK by the way

yeah, i just got my helfrichs firefish an hour ago and put him my 29 reef, i love helfichs but they cost so much, only 52$ for me and 139$ for them (customers), they have such a great personality!

it's called detitrus, every tank gets it and it cany only be cured by a few sand sifting stars, like brittles and serpents

was the lr cured or uncured, uncured will send the amonia and the nitrates through the roof, it turns my amonia tester black after two days, but uncured lr is mor desirable for the inverts that come with it, cured lr shouldn't do that, but if it has black or brown syuff pick it off before you...

go to the lfs and buy base rock or lace rock and "seed" it with a few lbs. of live rock, it will take any where from 6 months to a year, depending how long your tank has been set up and cycled, the longer its been setup (more than a year) it will seed itself faster!

but its going on a small flow rate refugium and return pump!
