does your frogspawn bother your leather? I know I had to move mine because it stung one whole side of my devil's hand. It took it a good month to heal afterwards from it.
the first pod fell of today. it fell behind the rock but im going to attempt to retrieve it. the flower pot is still fully opened, and doesnt seem to have any die off from the spot the string detached from.
i use 260 w also, and have a Flower pot, mushrooms, zoos, Crocea clam, 2 leathers, montipora, sponge, carnations, Frogspawn, Colt coral, fox coral, and star polyps.
i have no idea what this is, its growing in a cave in my tank. It first started in like a cacoon-like form, now looks like this. Anybody know what it is?
the thing is, ive had a flower pot die before, and the flesh actually comes off and turns brown. In this case, the flesh is fine, but there is a string that hangs like 2" off it, and at the end of the string is a pod of about 20 tiny flower pot sprouts.
Here is a pic from when I turned the lights on today. I'm not sure about all the specs on the tank because my husband is the one that does all the up keep of the tank. All I know is that it is a 72 gallon tank.
I bought a flower pot a week or so ago. It had completely closed by the time I got it home, at which time I realized that it had 2 areas that looked like a ball. I was very careful in the placement of the coral and it is doing great. It opened beautifully within hours of being under the...
I did have other fish in the tank with the tang, and he never bothered them that I saw. They seem to pass of natural causes. He does also seem happy and healthy in the tank. He is about 3.5 inches. What do you recommend I do with him if he is too big for the tank but happy?
I only have a yellow tang in my tank fishwise right now. I just don't know what I want. The tank is a 72 bow front. I'm looking for hardy, ich resistant fish that are reef safe. Anyone got any idea's?
i loved mine also, just be sure not to let it chaff a rock or anything. I lost mine when i was moving a rock, and part of the pile collapsed and rubbed the flower. If you damage any part of it, the entire coral dies.
I have had an elegance in my tank for about 2 months and suddenly it is fully closed every morning when I turn my lights on and then it takes a good 4-6 hours to start opening. I hasn't opened enough to see it center in about a week. I'm not sure whats going on with it. Anyone have any...
i believe there is 2 types of Blue throat males. The male Hawaiian crosshatch has the distinctive blue throat while the normal male just has the yellow fins. And females are plain blue.
