They're gonna cost a lot more than 150 bud. Slow down in your pursuit of setting up this tank. If you rush you will bust. how big of a tank are we talking here?

Just remember, the more live rock you put in there, the fewer fish you can have. They got to have space to swim man. If you have 40 - 60 pounds already, I would stick with that, especially if you want it to be a fish dominant tank.

Definitly a waste of space. Their aggresivness will limit the types of fish you can put with them. Good luck catching them with all that live rock :)

Maybe I should explain about the carbon Usually in stores, the tanks they keep the live rock in doesn't have an active carbon filtration. Or it is just old carbon. This will turn the water a bit yellow and block more of the lighting than you think. Now I'm assuming its a new tank since you just...

did you happen to replace the active carbon recently? 45 min is not really a long time for the rock to be out of the water. When lr is shipped it can be out for a whole day or more.

Fish Junkie- I think that you just got an unhealthy fish. He wasn't able to adapt to captive life well. You just never know sometimes. I will say this though...they are extremely hardy fish. Before I knew (halfway) what I was doing I actually started a tank with a Lion without a long cycle...

My Kole tang has some darker patches of skin now and I was wondering if anyone has seen this before or knows if he may be sick. He hasn't really acted sick but I havn't seen him yet today.
