    Ricordea FL as host?

Hey Everybody! I searched the postings but didn't get any definitive discussions. Any history, stories or research data on if aqua-cultured false percs would consider a fluffy group of Ricordea FL as a host?

Ahhhh, now that last bit of information is very interesting. The one standard green Ric does that for part of the mid day. I was wondering about that. Ok, I will absorb this information and update from time to time if anyone is interested.

OK, Here is where we are at. I have heating and keep it at 75. I do regular water changes at 3 gal ea usu 2/mo on a 15g tank. I have read that you can keep scallops alive by spot feeding which I do with various media about each day using a baster with an extension tube. Everyone enjoys...

Now we are getting somewhere. I do not do this for my ego and it is silly really to think so. Since you offer that you have done this before and above that you claim that it has been done over and over again, clue me in this discussion about it as that is the whole purpose of posting here, to...

So be it? I do not pretend to know everything about anything that is worthwhile to learn as it is too in depth and interestingly changing all the time. I think your depth observation is clear and though you all try and input your thoughts and opinions, it looks to me that this site is not very...

Thanks for keeping in touch. Now now, we were supposed to be keeping away from all the techie stuff as there is plenty to go around elsewhere, but to keep everyone happy I encourage you to check out this link. There are many others but this one has plenty of cross references and additional...

    Must it be high tech?

Hmmm, well everyone seems healthy and happy. I was recommended by the seller to drop the salinity to avoid illnesses and the research supports this (cost of salt is not the issue here). Fish themselves actually are stressed by processing the salt load in seawater as their internal system is at...

Keeping my eyes open (the shipper insists it was in the tank beforehand). I cannot believe the turnaround but I may have caught it really early. I'm hyper about hypo (I agree so that is why I did not medicate)!

I got a little ich on the fish but treated them naturally and all is super good now with varacious eating, color and activity. THe scallop is being fed by 'pipette' (turkey baster with tube extension).

Question: See this "Mushroom corals, also called Corallimorphs or mushroom anemones are very hardy corals, and one of the best for the beginner reef aquarium. Among one of the best beginner corals, they can even be maintained in aquariums with just sand substrate, live rock, and an airstone for...

Hmmmm .. stay tuned and I will keep you posted. The spectral analysis on these bulbs is more like daylight than standard CFs. We'll see if they are up to snuff all things combined.

I'm not exactly sure what you are asking but all CF lighting wattages have "replacement" wattage comparisons on the packaging. It refers to the lumens. This might help shed some light on the subject CFligtingFAQ. Above, you are correct as I mis-stated the K factor. These bulbs are actually...

Mr Damsel's friends have arrived!!! He anxiously awaits their introductions and everyone looks good except Mr. Basslett seems a little undernourished. We must attend to that! This pic is just before their arrival with new broad spectrum BlueMax CF spirals. An after pic to post soon once...
