If you have ever searched "best filtration for an aquarium" (more or less like that), then you probably know you get ton's of different 'answers' to the best filtration out there. Some of it seems reliable, others....maybe not so much. But instead of trying to find the best filtration out there...

Any praticular kind of skimmer? About how many gallons is one of those large black horse trough? Close to 120 gallon?

Thank you. Maybe a little. I set this thread up for questions, and sense it is going to be an expansion of my reef, or mine and my dads reef combined, I have a lot of question. Also, the tank is currently being babysitted by my awesome uncle, until we move into our new house (still picking one).

I like the in inquisitiveness (spelling?) of my hawkfish. But for color my favorite of my fish is my Powder Brown Tang.

Got a female Blue Throat Triggerfish for my tank. 3 hours and $65 later, she is finally in my tank.... She is little more than 2 1/2 inches long, and old fish are....well behaving like old fish do to a new fish.
