I have a Nova Extreme with the 4x54 T5's. One of the bulbs burned out. My LFS has the bulb but in a 28 watt, both the original bulb and the possible replacement are 10K's. So my question is, what is the difference in watts, besides the obvious? Is the lower wattage better/worse for the aquarium...

I like my Hi Fin Red Banded Goby (aka - Yellow Rose Antenna Goby, Yellownose Prawn Goby, Striped Goby, Blackray Shrimp Goby). What ever he/she is, it's pretty cool.

Thanks for the info. I decided to let it do it's thing and it eventually re-attached to some live rock lower in the tank.

My mushroom has detached itself from the LR and is now rolling around on the bottom. What should I do? Still looks healthy. Params are good. Lighting is T5 Nova Extreme 4x65, 2 10k, 2 460nm.

I bought one several weeks ago and have not had any problems. Most of my top is open. It's in a 90L with only two Percs, 1 goby and a blenny.

Have two False Percs, about 2" or so in a 90g tank. When I go to feed them (Formula One pellets daily, brine shrimp or krill once a week), the female will hord getting the food and chase the male off. I usually have to sneak food around her to feed him. Is this normal?? She will still chase him...

Just gettin' started. Plan on adding more fish, inverts, corals and upgrading equipment slowly but surely. Thanks for the + comment.
