I'm looking at getting the 46" uvl t5 bulbs but I don't know what combination of them? My fixture has 6 bulbs and they can't be longer than 46". Its a catalina aquatics fixture.

I found some 45 3/4 inch bulbs that will fit made by true lumens and another one by current usa or I could always go with the catalina aquatics but they werent that good.

54watt but the bulb size is hard to find. 48" bulbs are too long and thats what most are that I have come to find out now... :(

Im looking for T5 ho bulbs for my catalina aquatics retrofit kit. The bulbs that come with it are 45", 3 10k and 3 aqtinic. I need the bulbs to be no longer then 46"?

I had a rio that had a starting up issue after about 2 years. This catalina aquatics pump has a starting up issue also sometimes, but it isnt even that old. Thanks for everyones thoughts, im gonna look into all the pumps.

I have a 75 gallon tank with a 20 gallon sump with an overflow box of 800gph I think. Right now I have a catalina aqautics 850gph at 0' and its getting weak and I haven't had it for a year. What's a good pump that will last? I was looking at a rio 3100 900gph? Anyonr like one pump over another?

Im looking for a submersible pump that will pump about 500-600gph at 4-5ft that doesnt cost alot of money and willl last? Does anymore use the pump I found on ---- called Catalina Aquarium's pond pump 850gph? Thanks

I have kinda course sand and I noticed little bubbles in my tank after i had to empty my tank and reseal it then refill it with the same water and sand. The bubbles I can see through the glass into the sand? What is this?

I called coralife and all of their units are the same besides the membrane gpd. You can buy a the cheaper gpd unit and later down the road ungrade the membrane to a 50 or 100 gpd when you get a bigger tank or want more water. I was looking at getting a 100 or 150 gpd membrane for mine?

Phosphates cause algae blooms and hair algae. They can come from using tap water which is normally the main source or from salt that has clumped up and hardened and then is used to mix salt water. You might want to looking into t5's from catalina. They have a website and they sell them cheaper on *e*b*a*y*. I got a retofit 6x54 t5 on my 75 gallon tank and its great. Saved me a couple hundred and works with no problems.

Thanks everyone for the info. It just sucks that I have to make extra ro water and store it for top off water, I go through about 2 gallons a day in just top off and im doing 5 gallon water changes a week which I think is plenty for only have 2 fish in there.

where is the best place to buy one? I see them on amazon for about $30 plus shipping
