    you, you're going crazy over a stand. It's really not that hard, it doesnt take statics or strength of materials classes to build a fish tank stand out of 2x4's

    the reason he did that i'm guessing is so the tank it can spread the tank evenly so it doesnt have to sit 1.5 inch wide sides.

    2x4's will be plenty fine and they are less lunky and cheaper than 2x6's any simple truss design will work. P.S choose your wood wisely, don't just pick up the first ones on top, go for the straightest you can find. If you have any indoor lumber yards even better.

    Okay so it's about that time for new lights for the nano i have upgraded so i can now fit 3 18w pc's in what should i do! 2 10k and one blue or 2 blues one 10k?! or should i do one 10k one blue and a 50/50?!

    This is one of the most ridiculous things i've seen so far on this site, and i've seen some pretty dumb things. They outgrew the tank the minute you put one in, put two in, well you take the cake. 24 gallons, about 20 gallons swim able, I hope your two little pals have a blast swimming great...
