i like using a pvc pipe. i have a 2" pipe that goes into the tank but i pour into a 4" funnel. then i reduce it to make it to 2". you will probly need 2 people for the job 1 to pour and one to spread. as long as the sand has been washed then it really shouldnt creat a huge storm
