how old are the lgiht bulbs themselfs. i notic that as light bulbs get old they tend to cause this algee bloom. if its a new fixture they could be some cheap bulbs that have gone out(lost full spectrum). other then that i dont know of anything that causes lots of alge like that in 1 day. good luck

i have my panter grouper with a yellow tang and a Foxface they all get along really well. i got them around the same time(within a few weeks) all were babys so it might have helped a little bit. but they do great together.

they need a very dark cave/under a nice shaded place. i bought one and it live for like 4 months then it died. they only live for like 8 months according the my LFS. they didnt sell it to me either so i trust them.
