i just added 45 lbs of aquacultured live rock directly out of the box with only a saltwter bath(about 5 minutes of soaking in saltwater)--i added sautrday at about 2pm and no increase at all in my tank ecept i beleive nitrites(.25)--ammonia didnt raaise at all--ordered from tampa bay saltwater...

my buddy just got a 150 gallon tank and now comes the cycle---i did mine with damsels,is shrimp better,and if so what type??just frozen uncooked live shrimp??how many should he put in--he has no live rock at this time--thnks guys
