bought my RODI unit off an auction site for 120 dollars.... No plumber was really needed, just a pin connection onto your water pipe and a line to the drain pipe. Or a cheap adapter to fit off of a faucet.

I am curious about heaters a bit as well. Are there heaters that are more efficient that can heat more water with less overall wattage? What makes expensive heaters good, and what makes cheap heaters bad? I am just having a hard time discerning the difference between Heater A and Heater B...

Just curious. I know that windex or similar type cleaner is a no-no inside the tank and around stuff that come in contact with the water but what is wrong with using a windex sprayed paper towel to clean the outside of the tank with? It doesnt come in contact with any of the water so shouldnt...
