What was the outcome of your colt? Did it survive? I have a colt that is about 2 years old,after 1 year it was about 14 inches tall and now for the past year its been getting smaller.aprox. 6 inches tall now.

The white patch was a little bigger,and after a day or so the xenia grew over it.But this happened also 1 year ago and the patch grew so big I had to cut the patch out.I divided the xenia into 3 sections and they all lived.

The salt should dissolve completely,take the power head and aim it at the bottom of the tank so that the salt doesnt have a chance to sit on the bottom.
