I have it down to about 81-82 ill keep watching it to make sure it stays. I left my lid open today I think that helped a lot.

Ok took my water in to get tested my water is excellent, they just had me add some calcium since I am wanting make it a reef. Everything else is perfect though. No Algae for me yet, its been about two weeks. My LFS said that my cycle will be fast so I am hoping I wont get any algae. I used all LR, LS, and Water from the store so nothing was really starting from scratch!

I just hate how it heats up... I will try to cool it some more with ice tonight, maybe if I get it down to about 75 or so it wont rise as high and stay stable around 80.

What does it do to become a hassle? I thought that real ocean water would be better because thats what is in the ocean. Am I wrong? Do I still need to add salt? When I do top offs should I not do it with this water?

What is the preferred water everyone likes to use? I bought all of my water for my 29 Gal at the LFS its Catalina Ocean water. That way I don't have to mix salt etc... Just put the water in and everything should be good right?

Cool thank you all for the answers, my LFS guy told me that the blue is just to simulate sunrise and set and they should only be used 30 minutes before the white then 30 minutes after the white. Dunno maybe he was thinking I meant the moon lights :)
