Overfead Dendro...mods can move if needed

So i have started doing a nightly dip in API Melafix to try and combat the bacterial infection. The coral does not seem to be losing tissue as fast after the last two nights of dipping. I will try to post a pic later tonight.

Overfead Dendro...mods can move if needed

Yea, i very rarely feed an entire large krill to the polyp. I used to feed a homemade food mix of lots fish, shrimp, clams, mussle seaweed and vitamins. With the first colony i had, I ran out of this food mix and fead an entire krill to the polyp. Shortly thereafter it died. With the second...

i have a standard 48" 55 gallon tank. I have a vortech m-p20 on the left side wall, and i place the seaweed on the right side wall. Unfortunately, where i need to put the clip is exactly where my clowns live, RELIGIOUSLY. i think i have seen them swim over to the left side of the tank, maybe 2x...

Im thinking of selling it back to the LFS becuase it makes me kind of nervous on how quick it has grown. OceanKid, its a...

    Next Fish

I like the idea of the firefishes. I wouldn't want to get a fish that would grow to be so big, that I would need to remove it from the tank in the near future (already went through that with a Kole Tang). The Chalk Basslet is a pretty looking fish. I like the blue stripes. I'm looking at...

    Next Fish

I have been eyeing a Long Nose Hawkfish for some time. Anyone here have alot of experience with them? Tips or advice? I heard that they love to perch on top of corals. Has this resulted in a negative experience for people? Has anyone kept one with a red gorgonian?

It currenlty has a Flame Angle, two black saddle back clowns, and a Filimented Flasher Wrasse, and a Mandarin Dragonet (I stock pods every 2-3 weeks). I am looking to...

    After a year

It does and doesn't. I set up a strict maintence schedule right from the get go. Weekly water changes. Cleaning filters once every two weeks as a minimum. If you get in the habit of keeping up with maintence (while at the same time thinking of ways to make your work easier) it goes pretty well...

    After a year

Alot of my stuff has survived, very luckily. My two black and white clowns are what cycled my tank. They made it through a nasty case of ich when i added a Kole Tang. i had to set up a quick QT (forced me to do a good thing anyways) and was able to save the clowns, wrasse, and flame angel. I...

    The TANK TERROR!!!

It is my Flame Angel. Absolutely terrorizes my flasher wrasse. Doesn't touch my two clowns and mandarin though. It used to be my hermit crab. Becuase of similar issues, that went back to the LFS after about 2 months. I am worried about adding anything to passive to the tank. I am hoping that a...
