If you are only going to keep soft corals and Zoos, you do not need to worry about calcium levels. When you start to keep the LPS and SPS corals you will need more light and start testing for calcium.

IMO the best book for you to get is "The Conscientious Marine Aquarist" 2nd Edition by Robert M. Fenner. It is a great book that covers all aspects of saltwater. I would definitely read up on it before you make any decisions.

I have tested the water after the big change to the larger tank. Everything seems to be doing good. PH - 7.8 Calcium - 420 Nitrite - 0 Nitrate - 0 Ammonia - 0 Phosphate - .5 KH - 8/9 Salinity - 1.024 I will check everything again tomorrow. What can I do to get the PH up a little?

I was getting ready to do that after I have had my coffee and I get the kid taken care of. The only thing I did test was salinity, and it was at 1.023.
