AHHHHHHHH!!!!!???? This thing is so loud! I'm letting it run (on the front of my tank) for a while to see if it quiets down. Hopefully. But the pump itself is loud and the air "silencer" is loud too!! I wanna pull my hair out! Not to mention the in and outlets seem huge in my tank.

Anyone use one? I've found a deal on a used 3/4 HP pump. My dream is to have at least a 180 gallon tank with the sump in basement. Would this pump be sufficient? Overkill? I won't need it for quite some time
