What is so sketchy? We ran 3w xre Cree LEDs for a long time. No optics.... Experimented but did not like them so removed them after a month. Past months I have slowly replaced them with xpg r5, yes those are 5w now. And xte which I am sure those are 3w LEDs. so total leds 120 Crees. 60 xte 3w...

yes i was able to use the hlg 240s with the arduino controller. problem was like i said a few values are reverse in the software. just changed 4 lines in the original program from "false" to "true" and then the worked just like the eln. i see what you are saying... the hlgs never completely...

hey there.... wife told you were having an issue with the arduino or you had a question??? if you are running the hlg drivers you must re-write some lines in the software.

sweet man... just have to learn how use a macro lense. leds look great!!!!

i would use dielectric grease... the clear stuff and just fill it in there. this way just incase you have to re-pin the connector you can still do it with ease.

you need a USB -BUB II p/n 556- atmega328-PU from www.mouser.com and the usb to mini usb 5 pin. i have my new rewritten sketch for the hlg. if you need it.

hahahah yes sir we tried that. we even uplugged everything and tried that. tried wiggling the lcd to see if that worked etc. its really something very simple. meowzer understands how the programming of time and fade etc on the controller. she picked it up right away. just the darn timer won't...

just my opinion: i think the offset colors... your purples/reds/greens are a little close together. i know wiring wise this would make things extremely easy. i just feel mixing them up more would give you a better/ evenly distributed color . mixing up between the blues and purples also mixing...

thats a waste if you just use it for moonlights. its meant to ramp up and down your main whites and blues.
