I agree unplug the skimmer. Levels will come down let it cycle but nitrite is mor important than nitrate. :cool:

(WATER CHANGE! WATER CHANGE!) How often do you cheak levels? If water levels are okay how long ago did you add this fish to the tank? Chances are it could be unhealthy from the getgo. Levels would have to be high for a period of time for oxygen to deplete. :cool:

I can't give you much info but I can give you names of small fish that are still as beautiful as the bigeer ones. black capped basslet, gobys( mostly red headed gobys.) Dotty backs these must be kept singly they can't have pairs. Gramma's (I like royal gramma's) and blennys. Hope this info will...
