I'm plumbing my tank so I can get it filled early this week, and start the cycling process, is it ok to use purple primer, and pvc glue on the joints? I really dont know what else to use, but will the primer or the glue contaminate the water in anyway? Obviously I'm going to let it dry before...

A friend of mine just gave me close to 100lbs of used aragonite. I'm setting up a 55 gallon, and was wondering if I should even try to clean this stuff? Or should I just go out and buy a couple of new bags?
