Have had this bacpak for 5 years, have never had this problem. skimmer is overflowing, and can't get to stop, unless I unplug. Can't have it unpluged to long. Help!

I have a bak-pak skimmer on my 80 gallon SW tank, and it work really good. I do not have a sump on it. But at the moment I am having a problem with the bak-pak overflow, can't get it to stop over flowing. I think the bak-paks are really good.

Hey, Mr. Salty - I checked out the new web site you ask me to check out on the protein skimmer. sorry i'm a slow learner, but i'm still confused about upgrading to a maxjet 1200 with venturi kit. I understand about the pump , but about the venturi kit...:( did find out you were right...

Simm your right... I checked and found out that the propeller on the pump was just stuck. It's working like a charm now.....Thank goodness!!:)

The pump is a new pump , but don't remember what size it is???? will check this evening and let you know...thanks for the info. You've been a great help. Maybe it can be fixed...

I have 2 domino damsels and 2 zebra damsels and 2 clowns and yellow tang and dragon goby. No problems yet. and I've had them for an year now.....:)

Hey, saltyrich - just set up my 80 gal SW. and am wondering about my CPR bak-pak. Its not working. and the preskimmer your talking about. Is it the box in the tank, with the pump????:confused: I have the pump plugged in but my bak-pak isn't working. Do you have any Ideas????:(
