Ok, now I have heard of fish disappearing because something ate them when the lights were turned out. In fact i have lost two chromis and a domino damsel. I figured they must have swam into my condy. But the other day my chocolate chip starfish(which I was going to get rid of anyways)...

Maybe he does need therapy. Heres the real kicker though. It is not like he has no place to hide. Their are numerous caves and crevices in the LR. It seems like the Condy like him also. He is always in full dislplay when the Coral Beauty is near him.

Has anybody witnessed this before? My Coral Beauty has decided that my Condy is his best friend. The Coral Beauty swims in and out of the oustretched arms of the anemone. He also sleeps at night right beneath the Condy. I think I have a messed up fish. It is funny to watch though!!!

Thanks for the info. Down here in S. MD there is not many resources for us to utilize. I guess I will have to see what I can find up closer to the city. I am going to call some local AG stores tomorrow and see if I can find some of the southdown sand. Wish me luck.

Went to the Baltimore Aquarium last February. It is great. They had a special seahorse exhibit, dont know if it is still there though. Admission is not cheap but it is well worth it.

I have two 55 watt power compact lights. I heard that Power compact lighting is actually 3 or 4 times stronger than regular wattage. Does this mean that instead of 110 watts, I should consider my lighting at 330 watts? Probably a dumb question but I guess I need to know. 75 gallon 2 55 watt...

I just moved to southern Maryland, and have a 75 gallon tank. Their is only one LFS and they are ourtrageously priced. They want $6 a pound for "premium live rock" but it is really base rock. Anybody here know of any good places to get some decent products in the Maryland/DC area. Thanks!
