I just noticed small crystal bubbles forming in my tank. They are attaching themselves everywhere to include the sand and rock. They are hard to notice at first but once you start looking for them they seem to be everywhere. It's not coming from the skimmer. Any opinions on what might be happening?

How does one go about preparing for a 300ga FOLR tank? You can't possibly use a RO/DI to fill the tank without having a tremendous water bill. Does the LFS offer pre-made salt water by the bulk? Can you you use tap water and try to filter out all the pollutants? Can LR and LS be ordered in bulk...

I had one but was not impressed. The skimmer never picked up too much waste. It's now out of commission.

I have a very short sump with a maximum height of 20" from floor to top. I need a quality skimmer but most I've seen are too tall for my sump. My tank is a 55 ga. corner tank. Does anyone out there know of a quality skimmer that will fit my sump? Moneys not an option. Thanks!

I have a CB and Maroon together in a 55ga and both are quite content. The CB will come around and eat well once it's comfortable with its surroundings.

If anyone has a chance then I recommend Southern Thailand. Uncrowded and unspoiled. Been there several times and been impressed each time. You'll have to catch a boat to take you out to the different islands to snorkel. Boats are very cheap to rent with a driver....try Krabi or Samuai.

Is there a safe way of repositioning a BTA? I have a corner tank and my BTA has found his spot in the back of the tank where he can't be seen. How can he be enticed to move? Would a powerhead directed at him do the trick without hurting him? Open for suggestions...

Just noticed tiny black spots appearing on the tips of my finger coral. Almost looks like tar. No digital so I can't post a picture. Any idea what's causing this and remedies to reverse this? Thanks
