You know, I have gone through the last month in my head over and over to what I could have done to the tank and I have come up empty handed everytime. It is such a disappointment to me because I really wanted to do this. I just can't stand to kill one more coral!

Anyone know if you can take a 4 bulbs 660 VHO set up and turn it into a 2 bulb set up? I would think it would take some wiring knowledge??? Thanks!

Thanks to everyone who tried to help. I tore the tank apart, couldn't find the problem and have decided to sell it. I give up on this hobby. I guess I'm just not cut out for it. I have it posted to sell in the classifieds if anyone is interested. Thanks again!

Right now they are 4 - 24" but you can put whatever length of bulb you want in them up to 60" I think. Maybe even 72" but I would have to check. All you do is make them as long as you want and screw them in. They are mounted into my canopy so you would have to have something to mount them too...

I have VHO lighting. 4 - 75 watt bulbs on a 58 gal tank. equals about 5.17 watts per gal. They are offset so the blues are more at one end the white at the other. Any suggestions on where to put them? high, low, middle, blue end, white end? Thanks for the help!

I bought an oak hood and had 660 VHOs mounted into the hood. Took it home and the water was instantly 85 degrees and climbing. I went to Radio Shack and got 2 115v fans, cut two holes on either side of the hood and mounted them. One blowing air in, one blowing air out. Worked really well...
