I'm using Oceanic salt. I thought I had an Alk test but couldn't find it. Its a 25g reef thats been running for a few years now and everything in is fine. Can high cal readings be a problem?

Just did a cal reading lastnight and it was at 700 and ph was 8.1. I did a 20% water change today and now its reading 1000 and ph is the same. How soon after the water change should i test. I only waited about 15 minutes. Should I use any kind of buffer?

Hopefully this is a little bigger. The lion is pretty big. The snapper behind him is about 9". Maybe 8 or maybe 10. Either way he is huge considering I bought him on a few inches long.

This snail hitched hiked into my tank on some LR. Anybody have any idea what it is? Bottom right corner of pic. It's about an inch in diameter.

Around the mouth area. Stalks are brownish. I guess I'll stop dosing iodine. Can you actually overdose with iodine?

I've noticed that my green button polyps are starting to turn white. Does anyone know what may be happening? I've had them about 6 months and color change started about 2 weeks ago. All water parameters are fine. Thanks.
