Just make sure the bulbs you use have a Kelvin rating of at least 55- 65K. Many shop lights and utility lights have a 45K rating or less. This will not provide the right spectrum for coral growth, however, your algea will love it.

All good advice, but you will want to upgrade later. Save yourself some money, and buy the MH now.

Any welding supply store can sell you oxygen. And welding grade oxygen is the same as medical grade.

Mine just died about 4 days ago (I think). I found him hidden away in the xenia, and the Xenia was actually growing around his limbs.

Just leave them alone, and nature will take it's course. Mine are always breeding, but keeping the babies alive is hopeless. They are just good for fish/coral food IMO. Peppermints also change --- sometimes when they molt, so don't worry about wether you have a male and female.
