    It uses calcium from the water when it grows, but if you dont have much i doubt it will take up a lot. As long as you dont have coral it wont really matter anyways, and if you do you would already be dosing it anyways so no need to worry unless it gets really big.

    probably a pod of some sort. run a search for amphipod or copepod.

    If you go by the rule of 1 inch of fish for every 5 gallons of water and you get all 10 fish you listed in your pose that leaves you with 1.84 inches per fish and some of the figh you have get pretty big when they are grown.

    if you search for DIY refugeum there should be many different types you could make. Until then, comme you might consider adding something to the frozen brine to make it more nutrtous or make your own brine shrimp to feed them. I can remember what its called that you add to it... selcon maybe???

    Is that 130 watts total? if so, I would suggest you get better lights than that. power compacts maybe? You will also need a powerhead or two for water flow. Calcium and Alkalinity supplements and test kits. How old is your tank? Any corraline algae growing?
