Yea they ransacked it. Shrimp waste everywhere! The coralline is still taking off. Ive seen that it grows on the darker surfaces first. Some of my white rocks are still yet to get it, whereas the back of the tank is black and is covered.

Umm it took about a year. Hahah, but seriously, it took maybe 6 months for it to take off. Once you see little purple dots everywhere, they radiate out from the dots and just get bigger. Coralline is weird like that.

Tank looks awesome paintballer, a great inspiration to all of us with new tanks, great job
And I love the original shots, they are almost comical compared to what you have now (I hope that isn't offensive, not meant to be.
)

No offense taken, it is funny. I wouldda never thought it would turn out the way it has. My original plan was to stay with PC cuz MH was too expensive. Then I just somehow got enough money and ordered it and WOW is it a difference. The 20k bulb helps a ton on the color too.

well just to tell u ur tank is awesome
..but i have a few questions for u,
what size is ur tank?
what lightin do u have for all those awesome corals,
and what do u use for all of ur coraline algae?

wow nice! i so want to set up my 24 nano again. cant afford to set another one up as the stock market isnt doing too good. lost a lot of $ this year. we need a democratic white house! studies hv shown the market goes up when democratic is in the white house, as compared to minus 5% overall for the republican, since 1929.

Yea it started with a few spots and then it exploded, so keep an eye out
. My temp fluctuates between about 78 to like 80-81. I keep my tank in my room, so I usually have my ceiling fan on most of the day, so its well circulated, despite my room being almost 80 degrees all day. The thermostat for my room is set to 80 so it stays pretty constant.
My opinion with chillers is that as long as where your tank is has good air circulation, you probably wont need one. But if youre going to put 150-250 MH over a 14 gallon, youll probably have some problems.
Ive kinda thought about an alternative, dunno how effective it would be though. Making RODI ice cubes, and pouring a ton in the back chambers (given the temp is like 81-82), and it should help.

well my tank is always at 86. it never goes up or down. my fan is ways on and its also kept in my room. and my tank is great.
i was thinking about getting a 150w mh but i didnt since it will cost me more money. and with the money i could get more frags
so yea im just here happy with the stock lighting.
but i most say your tank does look better with the mh. and to keep it at that temp

mine thats a 29g and with stock lights my temp is at 86
but im good.
and i hope my coraline starts to grow soon. i just love it
