Dont leave that up to the clean up crew. You need to identify why this stuff is growing. I would suggest larger and more frequent water changes and possibly a turkey baster for siphoning the stuff out

I had a school of green cromis fight/die & an Old bulb is causing the red slime. I need to replace it.
I have tried a diamond goby but lost it somewhere in the tank.

Then there's your answer. Use the $100 for new bulbs, and on a bucket of salt to get parameters back in check.

Already ordered a bulb from LFS where I bought the lamp.
As for the perms I do a 5 gal.water change every 3-4 days so I feel at ease with that.
Note: I keep a 75 gal container full of saltwater ready at all times.
Cool I guess I will pick whats on sale and leave it at that.
