I have not took any pics yet,i just sit and stare at it ans keep telling myself i am a day closer to finishing my cycle.

I have only fired my new 400 MH for about 10 minutes to make sure i had everything up and working right.I should be getting my new 2x350w pro heat titanium heaters with digital control this week,then all i have to do is go buy alot of LR.I just put about 45lbs of base rock in the tank before when i started my cycle.I am thinking i should be able to go get my LR this weekend,then i will be taking alot of pics til i get my aquascape just right.

How are your levels looking on your tank so far?

Checked levels last night and ammonia is about .25 and the trItes are at .1 with about 5-10 Nitrates. I figure I am nearing the end of my cycle as the trAtes have just started going up. I'll be checking all levels tomorrow and again on Friday and Sunday before I put anyting in there. :happyfish
If everything works out, I should have something swimming in it by T-giving!

but not gonna rush it.
Hair algae is getting a lil crazy an I know there's a hungry cleaning crew out there for it

Ahh sounds like a aquascapeing showdown now!

I am glad to hear your tank is comming along well.I just wish my trites would go down,mine are still at 2.0 for over 2 weeks now.I can't wait to get my LR in my tank so it looks like i have something besides a big box of water.Maybe one day we will both have some pics with something alive in the new tanks other than bacteria and water.

Keep me posted on how yours is comming along and when something ever changes with mine i will let you know.
