wow this is really interesting.
I've always believed that because we only use 10% of our brain, there must be some pretty awesome stuff in that remaining 90%... telepathy, etc.
IF the mayans were able to travel through time, why didn't they come back and take their calendar back?
And tell me more about this pyramid drawing stuff... can you show me some websites to research about that?

Actually, we use all of our brains. We might only be using 10% at any given time, but the idea that we only utilize 10% is not true.

Okay, earth to everyone on the thread. This has got to be the weirdest post every in the history of the Aquarium..............lol. Aliens and time travel and interdemensional portals..............we are not in the Castle Greyskull. I don't claim to know who started to world or how it evolved, but they said all that same stuff about Dec. 31st 1999............we're still here and nothing happened. The world didn't implode or any such nonsense. Use a little common sense people.

Because we would know of it. The way we pretty much know of everything that's closer to earth in space, or more or less know exactly what is going on in every part of the planet. Something massive, like an inter-dimensional rift, would set off 1000's of sensors/monitors.
Or the Mayans have only mastered traveling ahead in time. Apparently it's much harder to go back, then it is forward in time. To go forward, all you pretty much have to do is go faster then the speed of light. To go back in time, you would have to complete a circle, faster then it takes light to go through the diameter of that circle.

The problem with traveling back in time is that once you have gone back you have accomplished the goal or reason that you went back in time, then in the future you have no reason to go back in time

You can travel forward in time because the future has not taken place yet and anything you do is only shaping the future . But traveling back in time actually reshapes the present and causes a ripple in the time space continuity . It would be far more difficult to cover this ripple rather than just leave the calendar in place and let us have it .
