way overstocked......before you consider livestock.....is it a reef or FO or FOWL......if reef what is lighting.....what skimmer are you using......dsb or bb or ss....how big is fuge if you have one......how big is sump.....????

why would you waste space on damsles in a 125 what i dont get is you put tangs and groupers in a 40 and damsles and chromis in a 125 why dont you put those guys in the 40. for the 125 get a pair of clowns nad dont getthe sailfin they get way to big way to fast. yoou should aslso try getting a puffer their way cool

Just curious...recently you were struggling to provide more than standard flouresent lighting over a much smaller display...couldn't afford basic PC or VHO lights. Now you are making plans for a 125...I hope you are better able to afford the 125 than you were the smaller display.:thinking:

my thoughts exactly, no offence.
i actaully kinda wish i didn't get a 125, and was thinking about downsizing my tank to a 55. but since things keep getting better and better at work, i can afford it

I got the 125 free. I might trade in the anemone. I re thought what you said about the damsles and stuff
1- tomato clown

1- saiflin tank- I like them a ton!
1- Panther grouper- small
1- porpine puffer
Is this too much.. They will all be small b/c the lfs doesnt ever get in big fish.

if you take one of the tangs out then you will be fine....try a foxface they are pretty cool...or a dwarf angel

The tank is 6' long
I desided at the grouper will ea my clown and damsle b/c i wanted to get a 8'' grouper

Yes, I know about the 3 tangs ,but other people have 3 or more in a 150 or less.

So if other people jump off a cliff, you will too? :rolleyes:
With a 6' long tank, you *might* be fine with 2 tangs, but I'd make sure they aren't of the same genus or look alike. A hippo with a yellow tang would be an example to consider. 3 tangs is just asking for trouble.

i would say you ar efine with 3 tangs...just not icluding the salfin......try a purple tang instead.....(salfin grow to big and are aggresive to other tangs)..........and make sure you buy spirula flakes and feed the tangs every day with it....

my last yellow tang ate marine algea stripes. Ill might get a hippo or a purple tang. Ill try it with 3 tangs and if it doesnt work out then ill solve the promblem. so a clown, damsle, and 3 tangs.
