Thanks for all the patience. I finally arranged things somewhat to my liking and am ready to share, although I am sure that I will tweak the setup over the next week or so.
First, here's some full tank pictures.

Here are some views from the back. Still a little work to do back there like run a set of dedicated electrical outlets and put in a sink, but at least it is now organized.

LOOKS GREAT!!!! some advice...... put up some moisture barrier above and around the tank and put in some insulation or do some spray foam insulation or that great drywall job will get moldy above the tank....

is that actual moisture barrier plastic though?? it looks like painters plastic which is not think enough to seal out .... plus i thought this was a garage so i was just thinking about the temp difference between this and the house?

It is actually a thicker plastic. This is the basement, not the garage so no need to worry about insulation only moisture barrier.

Tank really is looking great!
I love that you can have whatever equipment you need back there and none of the worries of hearing it seeing it. I wish I had a good place to do this with. I would do it in a heart beat.

One of the best aspects of this setup is that I can work on the tank and make a mess with the water and don't have to worry about getting the carpet wet. There is even a drain in the floor about 6 feet from the back of the tank and the floor slopes toward the drain so no spill needs to be cleaned up.

Wow I can't even imagine how convenient this whole set up must be.
I am the type of person who hates cords, and ANYTHING in the tank. I can't even stand the look of a koralia in plain view, so I love that you have all those hang on back jobs and canister tubes and everything in there, ad from the front... YOU CAN'T SEE A THING! trust me... I have looked through my whole house and there isn't 1 wall that could even be made to work. I so wish there was though. Again... Great job.
