I ended up getting a MSX-200 for my skimmer. I just put it together and took the asm g-2 out of my 75 sump and put the msx in and man this thing is a BEAST. I am just going to keep the MSX in the 75 to break it in and then once I get some fish in the 180 I will put it in the 180. I will try and get some pix of it in action tomorrow.

The electrician came and installed a 20 amp breaker for the 180. So I have the old outlet which I can rub about 7 amps on and the new 20 amp breaker. So plenty of power. Here are some pix. Most people have pix with their kids by the tank but I have my dogs
And there is a pic of the MSX-200 in action.

Started my sump today. Also got a few cans of spray paint for the tank. Its rainning right now so I am just going to wait until its not so humid out. I am going to put one more baffle to the right. So there will be just one bubble trap.

Sump is done. And getting ready to paint the tank today. As you can see I am not very good with silicone. I went a little over board. But hey you can never have to much silicone

+1.. lookin good, i'm along for the ride. i'm new in the hobby, since about last december.. already want to upgrade to a bigger system. you can never just stay happy with what you have. it seems that everyone must just keep going bigger and better. lol. and i'm not exception.lol

Well the tank is in! I am working on the plumbing. Need to get a few parts and tubing tomorrow. There are also a few pix of my 75. As you can see I have done ALOT of fragging. Trying to make some money

Sweet. how much longer til its set up? I would buy some of those frags to help w ur tank cost, but me broke! And I dont have a tank to put them right now lol. Whenever I set my 40 up though ill buy some. I sold a lot of my stuff to pay for some of my tank build. Of course mine is only a 40 gal though. But im not in a rush to set it up til I we get our apt.

Thanks. I am only selling locally right now anyway. Shipping in a pain. It will be atleast a month until its got rock and water. I am only using lace rock but it still costs alot. And I still need alot of stuff.

Heck yeah I was lookin at rock last night online. Shippin is just craZy. my lfs wants 12.99 a lb here which is just stupid crazy. And its not like it good rock either, but whatever floats there boat!
U might wanna check out macrorocks dot com they got some good prices on base rock if u wanna use any of that. Pretty cheap actually. its where im gonna get my rocks!

I have seen a few tanks with those rocks. They are pretty cool. This is where I am getting my rocks though.
