thanks, I didn't think I needed reflectors for VHO, but then I saw someone selling them and got confused. Any advantage to running the 660 instead of the 430, since 430 can power two 72 bulbs too?
I just bought the 660 so if I ever want to do anything else with it I can. Like if I want to un a bunch of T-5s I can, If I want to run 6x 4 ft VHO I can. I pretty much bought it thinking of the future. Cause they are great quality and last forever. And I think the only time you would really need or want relfectors for VHOs are for when you are only using them and not using halides with them. But then again I had a great SPS tank with only VHO without reflectors.

They are UVL super actinic. And I also have UVLs on my 75g. Love the color and never had a problem with them.

how big is the clam? looks awesome
Id say about 3-4". I did not measure it. Yeah he is really cool. They are VERY fast growers so I think that will be the only clam I get. He will have plenty of room to grow out on that right side though.

Thanks.
On another note, One wrasse jumped out of the QT and died about a week ago. So I made the holes even smaller. Then a few days ago I found another two on the floor. And the last one jumped today.
So there goes 200 bucks.
There are two like 3 inch holes for them to jump out of and they did.

thats no good man sorry to hear that!!! are you gunna make the holes even smaller?
Well I do not plan on getting any more wrasses and I do not think I will be getting anymore fish other then maybe a blue hippo tang. So I do not think I need to mess with them. I have egg crate over the top of the tank but needed to cut the holes for the return and overflow in the QT. But I do not have any egg crate or netting on the 180.

I got bored so I made the 180 jump proof
I am going to do the same with my QT. I might try another set of wrasses later on.

Not much new. Powder brown and tomini tang are still in QT doing great. I think I will move them over this weekend. Here are some updated pix. It seems so much harder to get good pictures then it was in my 75g that had VHOs.

I moved the tangs over and they are doing great. But the powder brown is a bully! But for some reason him and the tomini nare best friends. Also got a doser. Makes life alot easier. Dose 110 ML of B-IONIC a day. Works great. And I am pretty much done with fish. And if I do get any more I will just get them from the the place I work and he QTs everything for a month before selling. So I am setting my 75g as a reef again. I just used rocks I have collected over time. And put a MSX 160 on it and its amazing.
Here are some pictures of everything.
