for the light, remember what i pmed you. google it i guarantee you will find something.
a little trick i learned from my good buddy sharkbait, ammonia chips in a filter sock, stick it in your tank. i still do it. it always works! be aware that the tank will raise in nitrates, just as a part of a cycle. it worked great for me. there is a filter media that absorbs nitrate, i just cant remember at the top of my head. refugiums will lower nitrate as well. the algae absorbs the nitrate and throw out the extra growth. check out the DIY mini fuge for aqua clear 30. google that. otherwise just stick to basic water changes. i would still wait a little bit until your cycle is over. i dont think it was a good idea to get the LR in a dry bucket. LR bacteria starts to die as soon as it hits air, causing spikes in water parameters. I have a little nitrate in my nano, i just did a water change. I am gona test it 2m see how it goes. I am def considering a fuge in my nano chamber to reduce nitrate as well. i just need chaeto. you should look into the aqua clear mini fuge. JMO..
