i probly wouldnt recommend them with corals for the reason that they might knock over the corals for the most part. i love them they are so much fun to watch. Rotory was the one that talked e out of them a while ago in another post.

i check the local craigslist everyday for new stuff, and i think i did find a decent deal finally, but, its bigger than what we want for now, cause of space issues, and the fact that we are in the upstairs LOL

its more the weight over the room, the last thing i want is the tank goin through the floor and landing on her parents bed LOL we're in the upstairs, it'll handle a 20, it might, and i stress might, handle a 40, but we're not totally sure on that

hmmm. i dont realy think you would have a problem. when i lived at home with my parents i had a 90g in my room. second story with basement. and i didnt have any problems. so i really dont think you would. if your doing 2 20's then that would equal 1 40g w/out sump so i say go bigger if possible. cuz the 20's wont be enough. no tank is ever good enough.

thats where its going, but the only outside wall we got available, weve got right at 4ft of space, and i know thats how long that 40 is, but, its just as narrow as a 20 long LOL i wish i could find a 40 breeder at that price, id be alllll over that thing in a heartbeat LOL

what does a new one cost? i never really like to buy used tanks because you never know what they are used for. like alot of fresh water ppl us copper in there tanks. copper=bad for SW

thats what our friend told it was used for, and that she's never used it, im just hopin its not a standard 45 LOL i just checked em out an i dont like the width/height, im kinda hopin she's wrong on the size, an its like a 40g breeder, that would be awesome if its one of them

yea i just took a look at the breeders today. was at my LFS bought my GF her first fish. some type of damsel cuz she said she wanted it now. i am a day to early but she didnt care. i told her if it dies(hopfully it doesnt, poor lil guy) that she would have to wait an extra week before she could get another. and i was looking at some of the tank set-ups they had. bio-cubes mostly. i saw the breeders and they looked very nice. when i upgrade the GF's tank later on i might get her one of them.

yeah the 40 breeders and 50g tanks have the same foot print, just the 50g is taller, they are super nice, and i would love to get my hands on one, the cheapest i can find em new is around 100 bucks, which really isnt bad, and havent seen any on craigslist, unfortunately LOL
