Two questions:
1. My ph level is 7.7. How can I raise to about 8.0? I have seen products on swf but not sure what to do. I will be putting in lr tomorrow to start my cycle.
2. My lfs has Bali lr for 4.99 lb. Does anyone have an opinion concerning Bali?

There should be this powder for saltwater/freshwater ph reducers, neutralizers and increasers. GO check it out... it's pretty easy to use just follow the direciotns...
As for the lr, srry but never heard of it...
Do you have a lot of water going across the top of your tank? Do you have a glass lid on it?
Often a PH that low is from excess CO2 in the water.
Limewater will remove the excess CO2 also.
Thanks all. My water is all new as I am setting up my tank. I look to see if this PH increases with the addition of lr today. If not I will buy some of the product to increase it.
