The NE aquarium is pretty awesome. However, in the past year I have visited aquariums in Chicago, Seattle, Vancouver and Honolulu.
If you dig on reefs, Honolulu is the best thing ever. Another great reason to take a trip to Hawaii.

HI FishFan, The NE Aquarium is an awesome place. I live about 30 miles south of boston and enjoy going to the aquarium every year. The whale watch from there is also excellent. It seems that I never get sick or bored of the aquarium,,,its always so fascinating. Hope you come back again to Boston for a visit!
