You should be the poster child for "big tang cautionary tales" whenever anyone says their tang won't get bigger than a few inches. Those beasts make you tank look small!

Growing it is...LOL....It actually came white...and was like a golf ball.....Now it is bigger then a softball
so white is OK? I never thought anything of it LOL

Mine came all black, now it has white spines, I read somewhere that is how they grow, I bought mine for my cardinals because they were having little ones. They are great algae eaters though.

urchins are cool critters. i have 2: a halloween and white w/pink spines pincussion urchin.
