Hi I am thinking of getting that tank but I have a couple questions about it...
What kind of corals can I keep with it?
What items am I going to need to buy in order to keep a reef?

I have a 24 gallon Aquapod if you wanna check out my thread and look at some of the stuff in mine. It's definitely not much but it might give you some ideas. I have a heater in mine and it does pretty good, but I have one mostly because I have an air vent right under my tank. HAHAHA Good luck with the tank!!

For me, I'm not too big into the nano cubes. I've got a 20 gallon long. Big footprint for the size. But if you get that, I think it's pretty good on the lights for a mixed reef, unless I stand corrected. I'm not familiar with it. Here's a fts of mine to give you an idea of my tank

Got the tank for 40 bucks, built the fuge for 80, and got the lights for 80. Return pump for the fuge was from my nanowave (temperarily), same as the powerhead. That should give you a couple ideas.

yeah yeah, I was gonna paint the back of the fuge black, but got too excited setting it up. Guess I'll have to paint it when I move in about a month. The heater is a 50W. Don't remember the brand, but it's performance blows anything else I've got out of the water, so to speak. My girlfriend ordered it for my 9gal from here. They where out of stock on the one she picked, but they gave her the option to pick another one at the same cost. So we upgraded. The thing keeps the tank within +/- 1 degree from where it's set.

do u know if a 100W heater for a 24 g tank would be good?

well, if it's for the 24 gallon JBJ, it might be too much because if the hood is close enough to the water level, and you don't have any decent fans, the lights will warm that tank up higher than you want in no time. But, like I said before, I'm not familiar with those systems. All I know is that with my nano wave, I had to cut extra vent holes in the hood, AND put on a fan to curb the heat. And then I had my heater on a timer to only come in at night. I'd wait on getting it though till someone with experience with the JBJ chimes in.
Just to let you know though, my total tank volume is 26 gallons, and I have no problem with the 50W. Remember, your pumps will also give off some heat....not a lot, but it might be the difference between having a 50W and a 100W

oh ok...the one I am thinking of getting has 2x36W CF lights so the overheating problem shouldnt be that bad...I hope...

yeah, I thought that too, cause the nano wave has dual 24 watts....the thing with my tank was that the lights where super close to the surface of the water, and the venting was crap

yeah, the coral list is good. anything but sps. I've read that some people have had "success" keep sps with pc's, but I think it's a load of crap. why stress out the coral under obviously inferior lighting conditions than they require? the only other thing I can thing of that you cant keep are clams, and anemone's. The 20 has dual 96W PC's. One atnitic, one 10,000K with 6 lunar LED lights. All sepertate timed

2 leathers that I don't know names of but one is yellow, the other pinkish purple
neon green hairy mushroom
plain hairy mushroom
Blue Ricordia
Green Ricordia
Mulit-color Ricordia
then two of the green polyps that look like grass...forget the names
Fish:
2 Scooter Blennies
3 True Perc. Clownfish (2 are picasso's)
CUC:
20-30 Astrea Snails
5-10 Nerite Snails
5 Hermit Crabs (not a big fan of hermits)
And just added 2 Skunk Cleaner Shrimp.
