I did end up adding the red lobster and am now pondering what I want to qt next. I'm going to add the clowns and mystery wrasse to the DT before I head out of town for thanksgiving. The crosshatch pair will most likely be arriving early january. I've been thinking about qting a couple fish between thanksgiving and christmas but havnt decided what. The remaining fish on the list are the maldive anthias's, achilles tang, large/dwarf angels, LMB, and I've been thinking about the orange back fairy wrasse. Any suggestions on what would work well for the next fish or should I hold off until after the holidays and the crosshatch's? How about just qting the LMB with the fairy wrasse?
You can QT the LMB and fairy wrasse, since you have at least a month until the crosshatches arrive. Plus the LMB and wrasse are usually not carriers of ich due to the slime on the skin. Not saying they NEVER have ich, just that usually they don't. I don't want the ich police to come after me.

Thanks RC, I think I'll do the blenny and wrasse next.
The mexican turbo snails have done a great job cleaning the tank and I also just added 3 emerald crabs to help them out

I'm still undecided on what wrasse I'd like to add so thought about possibly adding the two dwarf angels next. Ok idea or not??

How's everything going?
Also, I know I recommended you buy a Red Coris Wrasse and I still do. Just want to tell you they're killer on the hermit crabs.
Mine has completely killed all the hermit crabs I had left in the tank. These hermit crabbs had survived with triggers and all types of agressive fish, but the coris ate them, really fast!

Everything is going real good, Im still having a hard time posting pictures though
All the mushrooms and softies seem to be very happy and are showing good growth plus the fish are becoming much more personnel. I think I'll be getting a coral beauty and flame angel this weekend to qt plus some more softies. And the coris wrasse is still a large possibility. I have a few hermit crabs that wouldn't break my heart if they became food but would it mess with emerald crabs?
Now that I think about it I have had one problem and thats my mystery wrasse becoming a true mystery and not to be seen for over a week and a half. So I'm not really sure what happened there. All I can think is that the coral lobster isnt to reef friendly and had a pretty expensive meal because all the parameters have been very steady and basically perfect.

Don't count on it being dead. One time my yellow wrasse disappeared for more than 2 weeks. I thought for sure it was dead under the sand somewhere, then one morning it just showed up like nothing happened. Wrasses will do that, I've heard the same thing happen to others too.

Here's a few pics, some are a couple weeks old. I'll post more after the new additions have settled in. I was only able to get them to work as links

Gotta say I'm very pleased with swf's customer service. With my recent order I had a green nepthea tree that arrived very sickly looking and was more than half dead with the rest not far behind. So I posted for a garuntee request just stating that it looked half dead and was awaiting see what happen to the rest and that I had just wanted to document that it had arrived that way. Their first response to the matter was that a full refund had been given. So I can say so far I've been given nothing but great livestock and service. Thanks SWF
