He said he wants to be able to put in anything he wants. Said that in his second post on this thread. Almost all SPS corals will not be able to live and thrive on PC lighting, only MH.
And watts per gallon is not a good rule to go by. It depends on light intensity, which is wattage, type of bulb, depth, etc. An example of how this would not work is 13 watts on a .75 gallon nano should equal the same thing as 1300 watts on a 75 gallon. But there are some corals that can live under the 1300 watts on the 75 gallon, but not the 13 on the .75.
